Tapestry Challenge – Friday 16th January

This week in our Mastering Number lessons, the children have been building towers from 1 to 5 and seeing a ‘staircase’ pattern. They have been using the language of ‘one more or one less than xx’. Using objects at home, can you build towers starting with 1, then next to it, 2, and carry on as far as you can up to 10. Use the stem sentence ‘xx is one more than xx, but one less than xx’ to show you understand why you know what number comes before and what number comes next.
