Chelmsford City Racecourse Autism In Racing

We are delighted to be holding for the third consecutive year, our popular Autism in Racing on Tuesday 6th August at Chelmsford City Racecourse. We are currently in the process of finalising our Media and Press pack for this event and once this has been completed we will arrange to send through a copy to you.
On this raceday, we will once again be offering families with autistic children complimentary tickets to come along and join us for an evening of racing. We will be working with the charity Pop Essex on the day, who will be providing sensory play equipment in one of our marquees for everyone to enjoy. There will also be a separate marquee where families can sit in a quieter environment and watch the racing from a private garden area. For a limited number of families, there will be an additional opportunity to visit our sensory unit run by Immersive Interactive.
There will be various other activities taking place during the raceday, with Chelmsford City Football Club coming along offering a kick around with some of their players.
Tickets for this event are limited, with the last two events being oversubscribed. Families are welcome to apply for tickets now to avoid disappointment.
