Forest Schools Autumn 1 Week 3

This week we had our snack round the fire. The children are getting so good at peeling their own carrots, they are doing it completely independently! There was lots of painting (some of it using mud!) and we used charcoal pencils to measure our height on the trunks of the trees. We also pulled the rope tight to make the zip wire work – it was great to see the children working together as a team. The children then made a really impressive obstacle course, which constantly evolved using more and more equipment. They were so inventive and had such good ideas! Finally, we took a close look at a gorgeous looking slug with her eggs. The children can’t wait to check on her next week!
