Parents’ Association
Writtle Infant and Junior Schools have an active, friendly parents association which is a registered charity (number 1152512). Regular fundraising events include a Summer Fete, sponsored activities, movie nights, cake sales and treasure hunts. Money raised goes towards whole school projects such as enhancing Forest School and other outdoor areas and funding additional events and resources to enrich the curriculum and provide lasting memories for the children.
If you’d like to help out at our events, or offer us your ideas, we’d love to hear from you. All parents are very welcome to attend our meetings, whether or not you wish to be an active committee member. We are incredibly grateful to anyone who can volunteer a little time to help. - Chelmsford Foodbank Chelmsford Foodbank provides emergency food to people in our local community in crisis. If you are struggling or know of others who may struggle, particularly over the half term period, please get in touch with Chelmsford Citizen’s Advice on 01245 205579 or the Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service 0300 247 0014 who will be able to issue a voucher which can then be exchanged for food.
