Story Detectives is designed to inspire and engage children through storytelling, puppetry, drama, and inference-based activities. The sessions support oracy, reading, and creative writing skills in a playful, imaginative environment.
Each week, children work together to crack a brand‑new case, solving clues, unravelling riddles, and developing their own characters and narratives along the way. Over the 10-week programme, they build confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of story structure.
By the end of the 10 weeks, every child will have created and produced an original story to share with parents and peers!
