Summer Reading Challenge Event

Calling All Young Nature Lovers!

Get ready for a blooming brilliant hour of creativity and discovery at your local library because on Saturday 2 August, the libraries of Chelmsford, Writtle, Galleywood, North Melbourne, and Broomfield are hosting a FREE craft event that’s perfect for children aged 4 –11 years. You’ll get to create your very own plant in a pot, to decorate and place it in a special spot in the library.

Then, when you return, you can measure how much it has grown and make a record on your free diary which a magical way to watch nature at work! Once your plant is ready, take it home and plant it in your garden to help feed the bees and insects that keep our world buzzing

The event is FREE but you will need to book your slot via the website as spaces are limited.
