Year 2 Home Learning and SATs information – Friday 17th March

KS1 SATs

Thanks to those who attended the meeting on Thursday for the KS1 SATs. A reminder that SATs will take place during May. The handout issued during the meeting is published here.

Below is the video shown during the meeting. Although the date is incorrect, the information remains the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVlrdqh_J6Y

You can also access past papers on the government website:

The Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test is optional and we have chosen to use our teacher assessment and written work from GPS lessons to inform our teacher assessments.  The children will have lots of enrichment activities alongside the SATS. If you have any further questions, please contact us.

Home Learning

We expect all children to be kind and helpful to their mums, grandmas and other special ladies in their lives this Sunday. If possible, ask children to help you out with any cooking and they can impress you with their chopping skills and have the opportunity to use scales to accurately measure ingredients.

White Rose’s “1 minute maths app” can be downloaded to your phone to give the children an opportunity to practise their maths skills for just sixty seconds. There is also a parent chart to record their progress.
Please give it a try and let us know at Parents’ Evening how you are getting on!

Your child’s new home learning passport is also available to continue if you have time!
