WISPA posters
WISPA stands for Writtle Infant School Parents Association. It is made up of parents and teachers who work together to encourage close links between home and school and to arrange fun events for fundraising to enhance the children’s experience of school and education.
Parents can make positive changes towards their child’s educational experiences and help think of fun and interesting ways to raise funds to purchase equipment such as new play equipment, ipads or provide inspirational opportunities such as music workshops or pantomimes. WISPA is not all about fundraising; we provide opportunities for parents to meet with each other in informal and fun ways which encourage parents and their children to feel part of their local community and make friends. You also get to know the teachers and other school staff better too.
By becoming a member of WISPA, parents will be demonstrating to their child the importance you place on their education.
Over the year, we will be arranging events such as film clubs, sponsored events, firework disco, cake sales, treasure hunts, Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre and many others. We run a tuck shop after school most Fridays where not only can your child buy a treat, but also you can find out about ways you become involved in the next WISPA event.
